The City of Ulm offers the possibility of electronic communication. According to Section 3a of the Elektronik-Anpassungsgesetz (Electronics Amendment Act), the transfer of electronic documents is authorized in so far as the recipient provides access for this. The City of Ulm provides this access according to the following technological framework for electronic communication. On our website you will also find further e-mail addresses for individual organizational entities, institutions and persons. You can send e-mails to these addresses as well. If you would like to send e-mails with file attachments to the city council, please bear in mind that the city council is not able to support all file formats and applications that are common on the market. For technical and organizational reasons, the City of Ulm is currently unable to decode encrypted e-mails. If you want to send us confidential information, we ask that you use the postal service. Unfortunately, for technical and organizational reasons, the City of Ulm is also currently unable to verify the authenticity and validity of electronic signatures. Consequently, documents that require the written form cannot be submitted electronically. In these instances, we therefore ask you to switch to paper-based communication.
