The Donaubüro is a communal institution of the cities Ulm and Neu-Ulm.

Founded in 2002, its objective is to promoteencounters and exchange in the Danube region in the areasof education, government, and ecology. The origin of this exchange goes back to the 200-year-old relations between the cities in the states along the Danube during the course of the Danube Swabian migration.

The Donaubüro organizes the International Danube Festival every 2 years. During the 10-day festival on the Donauwiese green, Ulm and Neu-Ulm invite visitors to the "Marketof the Danube States" with authentic food and handcrafts, along with 120 concerts on three stages. In face-to-faceprojects, adolescents, musicians, and politicians engage inan exchange beyond the stage.

The Donaubüro continues to plan events for a variety of target groups and organizes its own projects, like the EU project on sustainable mobility in the Danube region"Transdanube".
