Evangelischer Diakonieverband Ulm/Alb-Donau Diaconal District Office Ulm

The service center includes various social counseling services for adult migrants, who come to Ulm as refugees, quota refugees, and asylum seekers and who live either temporarily or for a longer period of time in the communal housing facilities in the Römerstraße, or in private living quarters as refugees entitled to residence.

As part of the project work in the Römerstraße, we offer language and literacy courses, support for young women in personal and health matters, and homework help and recreational activities for children.

Children, adults, families, and seniors are welcome with the focus on socially underprivileged individuals, socially excluded and isolated individuals, long-term unemployed, individuals with psychological and other challenges.

Flüchtlingsrat Ulm/Alb-Donau-Kreis e. V.

The volunteer workers of this association work together to help people who have come to Ulm and the Alb-Danube District as refugees and to seek asylum in the hopes of living a better life.

The refugee council (Flüchtlingsrat) also positions themselves against xenophobia, promotes cooperation and organizes events to enable encounters between vastly different individuals. The Flüchtlingsrat Ulm/Alb-Danube District is a member of the Flüchtlingsrat Baden-Württemberg e.V.

IN VIA Jugendmigrationsdienst Ulm (Youth Migration Services)

IN VIA Youth Migration Services Ulm is a counseling center for adolescent and young adult migrants. To help young migrants with integration-related issues, we offer free advice

  • Help with school, career, and personal issues
  • Help with school/language course enrollment
  • Help with recognition for school qualifications
  • Arrangement of language training and private tuition
  • Help with submitting applications
  • Help with career guidance

Adolescents and young adults, migrants between the ages of 12 and 27 are welcome. Please arrange an appointment.
